Lantana Department of Health and Wellness Statement: A Sweet Halloween Success

Halloween in Lantana was unforgettable this year, thanks to the overwhelming response to Milk Duds from our beloved Lantana Candy Company. Families poured into our town to experience the famed “Treat Capital of Texas,” and the new Milk Duds, featuring a mysterious “special ingredient,” became the centerpiece of the festivities.

While the children enjoyed the treats as expected, the adults seemed unusually captivated. Reports of grown-ups trading costumes for boxes of Milk Duds quickly escalated into “dud-rage” at Halloween gatherings. Town officials were briefly concerned when a few parties turned competitive over caramel clusters, but most disputes were resolved peacefully within hours.
